Have folks listened to the #digitalHRleaders podcast with Keith Bigelow as yet? If not - I'd thoroughly recommend. https://lnkd.in/emXVDw8P It's no secret that I spent some time working at an HR Tech vendor, and so I'm always a little dubious, listening to folks from that space - to separate the content from the sales pitch. I thought that Keith's points were excellent. An HR tech product guy, speaking about AI - and other HR tech, as tech for the workforce, and not HR, about HR's role in navigating the new world of #skills & #work and supporting the workforce to do so, and it's unique opportunity to be the unifying function across an organisation, to get other functions driving their own AI and other tech initiatives to drive in the same direction, by leaning into their role as custodian of the employee experience - the way that employees get things done. A refreshing view of the current AI in HR discussion, and something I've been speaking about with some of Insight222's clients recently. What is the view of HR's role in this space in your organisations? #peopleanalytics #futureofwork #AIinHR #skills

In previous weeks I had posted about the great conversations I had been having with amazing startup founders and innovative HR professionals. I haven’t posted much in the last few days, so that must mean I didn’t have any interesting conversations, right…? 🛑 Wrong! The interesting conversations never stop! For example, talking to Alison JY Lee about her SkillfullySaid product (https://lnkd.in/gbG5cWdH) for AI-enhanced coaching and simulation-based training. Or stimulating coffee chats with fellow DisruptHR alumni Jona A. Wright, EdD, Yisrael Levin, and Sean Bengry about some potential joint ventures. Or talking to Michelle Zhou ☁️ at Sana to learn more about their AI product that wowed everybody at Transform (thanks Allison Mairena (Sproul) for the intro!). Or an amazing conversation with Steven Declercq that went 1 hr over the allotted time because it was so engaging and we went on so many fascinating tangents on AI, philosophy, and book recommendations. Or an engaging convo with fellow HR Tech enthusiast David Francis where we geeked out on tools that make lives easier for HR professionals. And an in-depth demo of Deel Engage (formerly Zavvy) with Alana Turk, to explore how they are integrating AI into different HR processes. And a fascinating talk with Spencer Ririe from Pilot.io where I learned how they went from an internal tool to a product that aims to facilitate knowledge management. Or the conversation with Josh Clawson, where I learned a lot about Ox (https://getox.ai/ and how they are transforming knowledge transfer. And an extended conversation with Michael Weissman, where I learned so much about fractional work, product management And let’s not forget Helena Turpin and Claudine Descheemaecker, with whom I had the first -of hopefully many- very inspiring conversations about many different topics like HR Productization, Remote Work, and the impact of AI on jobs. All of you added important insights to my work and made my week way more interesting. Consider yourselves invited to my upcoming podcast!
