Have you ever noticed how people resist when you tell them what to do? It's like we naturally rebel against feeling our choices are being limited. Well, here's a mindset shift that can make a big difference - turn your statements into questions. Instead of saying ▶️"Click here to learn more," try asking "Would you like to learn more about this?" It's a subtle change, but it gives the customer the power to decide for themselves. It's amazing how well this works! When you present options as questions, you're appealing to that deep desire for autonomy we all have. Your requests are much more likely to be received positively. I've seen this simple reframing technique defuse tense situations and turn skeptical customers into eager participants. It's all about making people feel empowered, not forced. ▶️So next time you're about to give an instruction, pause and rephrase it as a question. You might be surprised at how much more receptive people become! Have you noticed this psychological effect in action before? I'd love to hear your experiences and thoughts! #customerservice #psychologicaltips #empoweringcustomers

We are taught to solve problems. From the moment we enter the world, we are groomed to look for the problems. Many of us are really good at this. Really good at finding problems….even if we create them. Sometimes the “problem” is simply the story we’ve told ourselves. I’m just like you. And sometimes the story I tell myself needs to be challenged. The best way to do this?? Simply ask yourself how it’s a problem. If there are no external truths (meaning tangibles outside of you) then there’s a high chance it’s a “problem” you decided exists. What might happen if the exact opposite could be true??? There have been many times during this journey that I’ve questioned it. I’ve told myself that “people” won’t understand/approve/want DISCOVReality and my mission will fail. These stories came on the heels of a negative reaction or feedback (knowing I am the one that defines negative). Tonight I’m simply asking…. What if many people understand/approve/want it and I reach millions!!! It just might be so

Our beliefs are often rooted in assumptions about people, things, places, and more. These assumptions help us navigate daily life by anticipating how situations will unfold based on past experiences. They come in different shapes and sizes, but here’s a thought: Next time you make an assumption, why not assume the positive? When a driver cuts you off in traffic, assume they might be in a hurry for an urgent reason. When a cashier seems unfriendly, assume she might be having a rough day. Interestingly, organisation development as a field operates on such principles. As consultants, we assume that people generally have good intentions and can learn and grow. A small shift in mindset can make a world of difference! #OrganisationDevelopment #Assumptions #Mindset
