As part of our continuing research in the #dataprotection and #privacy arena, Pixalate's latest research report aims to provide app users an insight into how easily accessible and shareable their personal data can be when using mobile apps. Pixalate's recently released report focuses on the #Google Play Store and underscores concerning statistics about mobile apps that offer open programmatic advertising; over 12,000 mobile apps downloadable from the Google Play Store do not have detected privacy policies yet share users' personal data in the #advertising bid stream. What's more alarming is that these apps have accumulated over 4 Billion estimated user downloads till date, as per our most recent investigations.
