Here's one of the biggest flaws I'd love to see TikTok Shop fix: Product reviews Product reviews form the overall shop score which affects shop performance and traffic, meaning when people leave negative product reviews about the courier service instead of the product itself (not the brands fault) this is undoubtedly affecting their shop performance and revenue. Name me one courier that doesn't ever have any delays, chooses perfect safe places, never damages parcels and deliveries to the right address on time. You can't. Every single courier service experiences problems. So, why should the brand be penalised? It used mass marketing strategy in the start to capture the market, establish a new presence as an e-commerce platform and once it acquired a substantial customer base and a good product catalog on its platform - it has started quality checks, filtration to ensure the quality of products, supply chain, customer service is not compromised, it started protecting brands either they are on their platform or not by implementing a very good policy for IPR. Here’s what’s changing: 👉 No More Stress Over Carrier Scans! You no longer need orders scanned by the carrier within the dispatch SLA. As long as valid tracking information is added within the dispatch SLA, orders will NOT be marked as "Late Dispatch." 👉 Simplified Order Management Orders without tracking information will automatically be categorized under “To Ship” in the Seller Center, giving you a clearer view of pending dispatches. TikTok has updated the shipping options so that the shipping method you choose will apply to your entire account instead of being set on a per-product basis. This means you won’t be able to choose different shipping methods for individual products anymore. Instead, you’ll need to decide on one shipping method (Ship by Platform, Ship by Seller, or FBT) for everything you sell.
