💰 As the Federal Transit Administration announces yet another opportunity to apply for over $1,000,000,000 in competitive grants under the "Low or No Emission Grant Program", and more than $390,000,000 under the "Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Competitive Program".  Miller EV Solutions would like to take a moment to highlight the impact of increasing EV infrastructure for the communities. 🚌 Currently over 95% of school buses nation wide run on diesel fuel. The adoption of electric school buses will not only play a role in the clean air initiatives, but will also assist in decreasing fuel and maintenance cost. Saving time and money for the schools that adopt the new electric school buses, will enable them to reallocate those funds to other school initiatives. ✅ The opportunity to receive funding is an incentive for cities to adopt electric bus transportation, for little to no cost. Here at Miller EV Solutions we understand the planning and work that goes into making this possible. With experience in multiple bus fleet projects, one example being the installation of charging infrastructure for a fleet of 10 school buses in Long County, Georgia, we have the experience to meet the needs of federal initiatives.
