Introducing the New Generation of ACA! 🚀 These changes (planned to be rolled out from September 2025) are all about preparing the next generation for a rapidly evolving world of finance. ICAEW has been working closely with top companies to understand the skills that are really needed in today’s world and here’s a small snippet of what’s new: 🔹 Future-Focused Skills: The curriculum now includes a stronger focus on digital and analytical skills to equip ACA students with the tools to thrive in a tech-driven industry. 🔹 Sustainability and ESG: With increasing emphasis on ethical and sustainable business, the updated ACA integrates environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles – key skills for today’s accountants. 🔹 Enhanced Case Studies: Real-world scenarios are key to the updated qualification, helping students apply knowledge in practical ways and think strategically from day one. A social media platform reminded me this morning that 8 years ago today I recieved this certificate in the post confirming that I’d become a Chartered Management Accountant.
