I never thought I'd work in HR. To be honest, I thought it was a career were bright humans lost their light. So much process and policy and little buy-in for innovation from executives. That said, the times have changed. HR is leading the way in AI use and implementation in the business. HR is figuring out how to make high performance work and stick. HR is creating safe spaces where people want to show up for work. HR is changing the game. I get that we are still evolving, sometimes we still end up spending too much time on nitty gritty process and policy or we find that there is a lot of push back for our ideas. But we can't ignore the incredible progress we've made as an enabling agent in the business. Shoutout to the incredible HR leaders out there continuing to pave the way for what HR really is and can be. #leadership #hr #innovation

HR is changing. Because the world of work is changing. So… how can we keep up with all this change? PWC gives us some tips 👇 (Hint: HR tech is a big theme here) 1. Build a People operating model that works for now, and for the future ➝ tbh this is so critical and I think most companies underestimate it. 2. Embrace technology, whilst keeping human skills at the forefront ➝ something to balance, but don’t let it stop you leveraging tech! 3. Put your people experience at the heart of transformation ➝ it sounds obvious, but I think HR sometimes design for themselves and not for the people. 4. Drive operational efficiencies and reduce risk ➝ tech can help you do this one more than you think! 5. Stand for something more than “what” you do ➝ as we know, having a why is always a good thing…. not just a what. 6. Focus on developing transformative leaders ➝ oh yes, I was waiting for this point - SO critical. And yes, there is tech to support this. 7. Don’t be afraid to experiment and be bold ➝ yes and yes. Don’t be afraid of the change. It’s coming whether we want it or not. So be bold. What else would you add? *Full article linked in comments 🙂
