Here's how to kill any sale. You nailed the value proposition but didn’t get the sale. Why? Because you missed “the nuances” of the customer’s pain points specific to the customer’s industry. We onboarded our first pet food client this week. In a call, the client said: “I’ve talked to several inventory AI companies. However, their software does not have a way to input an expiration date for products. That is important to us because our inventory is perishable. I have to have this in the system we choose”. This client had been searching for an inventory management platform for a while. The vendors they talked to did not understand this nuance and thus couldn’t fully solve their problem. As a founder, understanding the nuances of the different verticals you serve is the difference between winning and losing. Push yourself to ask more “whys” when talking to your customers. The more whys, the deeper your understanding of the nuances of their problem As a deep understanding of your customer is a competitive advantage.

I’ve been facing an interesting challenge, while I can easily make conversions myself, my marketers and salespeople have been finding it harder. After reflecting on this, I realized the issue isn’t just about teaching them the benefits we offer or giving them surface-level knowledge it’s about taking a deep dive into how our system works. It’s not enough to provide a quick overview and hope for the best. For them to respond to customer queries effectively and confidently, they need to fully understand the ins and outs of the platform. This deeper understanding empowers them to handle any questions or concerns with clarity, making conversions easier. And here’s the real question, Do we sometimes forget that sales and marketing teams are two totally different entities with distinct roles? Both need this knowledge, but they use it in unique ways. I’m now focusing on tailoring training to match the specific needs of each team, helping them succeed on their terms. Anyway, be on the lookout for Transgo_ke, your e-hailing partner in cargo transportation, the countdown is finally here with us! #SalesStrategy #MarketingInsight #ProductKnowledge #TeamTraining #SalesAndMarketing #TransgoLaunch #Countdown #KiwanjaImeendaDigital

Let's go grocery shopping. It is time for our weekly trip to the grocery store. As we grab the cart, we head down the first aisle. Immediately to our left, we see a carton of milk. Would we think this? “All right! Milk! I hope the milk company has a video explaining the history of cows. Maybe the video can show me pictures of their farm and the cows they milk. I wonder if the company founder always loved the cow business. Is there some online audio where I can hear the milking machines in action? I need to check the back of the milk carton to see if they have a list of the awards they won in milk-grading contests. There doesn't seem to be a PowerPoint presentation, but maybe there are audio testimonials of people who drink their milk. If their milk was patented, that would be impressive.” If those are the thoughts that cross our minds, we have a problem. People don't think this way. We simply look at the carton of milk and make an instant decision to buy it or not. Then, we continue walking and looking at more grocery items. As we walk, our mind continues making these instant decisions. “No, no, no, yes to those candy bars, no, no, yes to those snacks, no, no, no.” Is there any thinking involved? No. All of these instant decisions were made by stored programs in our minds. If we did not make decisions this way, and needed an hour-long presentation about each item in the aisle, we would starve before we got to the end of the grocery store aisle. Thankfully, our minds don’t work like that. From the book, "Pre-Closing for Network Marketing." https://lnkd.in/g-6ZSvN

Want fries or a Coke with your meal? 🍟🥤 Suggesting additional purchases doesn't kill a sale - it enhances it. IT companies must master the art of upselling and cross-selling as opposed to just sending out Price Lists! At every stage of the sale process, there's potential to offer more value. If you're not maximising every sales opportunity, you're leaving money on the table. Customers want to maximise the benefits of their investment. It's up to you to guide them to the promised land. When you automate upsell and cross-sell strategies you improve the customer experience. And boost your bottom line. It's a win-win, like seriously no downside at all in doing this! I've seen firsthand how implementing these strategies led to record profits. In today's complex market, it is more crucial than ever. Tech solutions aren't standalone, they often require complementary products or services. Every sale is an opportunity to expand the order! 💰 #optimization #leadershipskills #customerjourney If you found this helpful.... 💬 comment 👍🏼 Like 📢 share 🔔 ring the bell
