Welp. I was hoping to build up to this better than I did, but it's been a crazy week. What can I say? Closure rates > 75%%? If not, I bet there’s room for optimization. Been an AE for < 12 months but have been an eCommerce nerd for > 48 months now. Doesn’t matter how many videos/courses /blogs you go through for discovery, rapport, and closing, unless you understand the industry in depth, the closures will never be good enough. Solution? Invest 1 hour every day in - blogs/videos/courses that your customers/prospects watch and not just your craft. Understand the customer's language and values that resonate with them. Instead of becoming a seller, become a consultant. When you talk, they should hear your experience and familiarity with the industry you're selling to and not the breath of commission. Do this for 21 days straight, if the results don’t come in. Revisit your call recordings, make a note of how the customer reacts to different parts of the pitch, double down on the good ones, and optimize the rest. Excited? Let’s get to it. Enough scrolling.
