🎙️ Exciting News! 🎙️ I just released a new episode of "The Business of Tech" podcast, and I wanted to share three key takeaways with you all: 1️⃣ Cybersecurity Threats Are Evolving: The episode delves into the rising cyber frauds, AI hacking on March Madness bets, and the increasing sophistication of cybercriminals. It's crucial for businesses to stay vigilant and invest in strong security measures like multi-factor authentication. 2️⃣ Government Response to Cyber Threats: The podcast discusses how governments, such as the U.S. State Department and the UK government, are responding to cybersecurity threats. It's essential for organizations to be aware of government actions and recommendations in the cybersecurity space. 3️⃣ Industry Standards and Compliance: The episode highlights the need for industry standards and compliance, as seen in the $26 million FTC settlement with tech support companies and the investigation into Broadcom's VMware licensing changes. Adhering to industry standards can help protect businesses from potential legal and financial risks. Thanks for spotlighting this Dave Sobel. Lots of MSPs are scrambling now, as a result of Broadcom's actions. I'm not sure that their actions should be subject to regulation, but I'm glad that some noise is being made here.
