"Most businesses think they're too small to get hacked." They're wrong. Your company's size doesn't matter to cybercriminals. They're counting on you thinking that way. But here's the good news: You don't need a massive budget or IT department to protect your business. In our Season 2 premiere of IT Unplugged, Joe La Chapell and I break down how ANY sized business can start their cybersecurity journey today. Quick preview of what we cover: • The 15-minute security solution that could save your business • Why hackers LOVE targeting companies with 20-400 employees • A forgotten strategy that costs nothing but prevents disaster YouTube Link: https://lnkd.in/gnF2WtZA Spotify Link: https://lnkd.in/gTcjcTpp Apple Podcasts Link: https://swiy.co/Ep28apple P.S. Is there ever a good time to deprioritize security? Here's what Drew Simonis (CISO at Juniper Networks) says on The Cyber Ranch Podcast: 🎙️ "It doesn't take any sophistication to turn the dial up to 11 on security. And it's safe, right? [...] I think it's very sophisticated and a very mature security leader who can say... 'I'm comfortable taking that seven down to a six if it means the business is going to be able to go a little faster'." Drew goes on to explain that not every company is a Microsoft or Google — security is relative to your business, so any cybersecurity "best practice" must be put in context. Certainly, security is a priority. But "how much" it's a priority isn't always black and white. Check out this episode for some great insights on balancing security with enabling company growth. https://hubs.ly/Q02zfd1l0

8moThanks for spotlighting this Dave Sobel. Lots of MSPs are scrambling now, as a result of Broadcom's actions. I'm not sure that their actions should be subject to regulation, but I'm glad that some noise is being made here.
