You don't want content that is identical to your competitors. You want content that is better. Content that is credible, trustworthy and shows your brand personality.

Want to build a strong personal brand? 👇 Start sharing polarizing personal opinions. It might piss some people off... But that’s how you attract those who actually care about your vision. Think about it... If you believe content marketing is for traffic, but your posts say it’s for sales—how does that align with your brand? It won’t. And your audience will feel it. End result? No influence. No sales. At the end of the day... You’re building a personal brand—not an educational one. Your brand should grow your business. If it’s not? It’s not worth doing. 👇 Share this if you agree, and follow for more!

You're struggling with content because you're trying to be original. It is not enough. You need to make your message impossible to ignore. This is what I teach in my newsletter. Too many businesses fall into the trap of generic, forgettable branding that blends in with the crowd. If you want to build a brand people remember, It's not enough to simply say you're the "best" or "fastest" or "most affordable. Those claims are plenty and not even sustainable. But you could dive into deeper issues. Why you do what you do and what you actually do. Communicate it in a way that resonates on an emotional level. Just enough for people to feel the same way you do. What's the bigger purpose behind your products and services? I want to know. Your audience wants to know. And what makes them follow your brand is the fact that you're not afraid to be polarizing, to take risks, and to challenge the status quo. When you're bold and confident in your messaging, that's when you'll start to cultivate a loyal following of fans.

How do you build a personal brand? I see so many founders trying to break through the noise and make a voice for themselves. But so many fail because they don’t lay the foundation first. • Do your research 📝 • Find your audience 🗣 • Build your origin story 🏡 • Be relatable 💙 Lean on your story, vision and purpose as your anchor point. The point that drives your message. This should be the underlying message through all your content. Get this right, and your content will work. Get this wrong, and you are wasting time. ------- Wanna chat about content? Shoot me a dm --> Patrick Bates

Today, it’s no longer just about "posting online" and "being visible". It’s about: → establishing a personal brand that speaks to who you are → creating an online presence that makes you top of mind → consistently delivering value that aligns with your audience’s needs Personal branding requires more than just showing up! It demands that you show up with purpose, authenticity, and a clear message that connects with others on a deeper level. Your content needs to do more than just fill the feed – it needs to inspire trust and build genuine relationships. P.S. Do you share relatable and expert insights in your content?

Your brand voice is the way you represent your company to your customers and to the whole world. It’s what differentiates you from your competition or any other brand in your space. So how do you make sure everything your company writes makes sense and meets the same standard? The only way is to create a content style guide. 📝

Think "Creativity First" What do I mean? In producing content, the marketer should shoot for the wildest form of creativity relatable to the target market. Once the idea or content is locked in, work backwards to adapt the idea or content to the corporate identity. This allows you to safeguard both your creativity and your brand identity. What do you think?

Let's be honest with ourselves here. How similar is YOUR business content to others in your industry? Just because someone else was successful with a specific strategy or content piece doesn’t mean you will be. In fact, I can almost guarantee you won’t be UNLESS you customize it to your brand, with your voice and personality. Taking inspiration is a good thing, but failing to adapt it to your brand is bad because you will just look like everyone else in your industry. Am I right? So, let’s rethink how we create content. Let's not just look at our competition and try to be better or do what we have always done. Instead, let’s start focusing our time, energy, and money on creating a UNIQUE and CUSTOMIZED strategy and plan for YOUR brand. #digitalbranding #socialmediamarketing #brandidentity

🌊 Consistency Is the Real Game Changer 😨 When you're the face of your business, it’s easy to worry about getting every post just right But 🤠 Perfection doesn’t build trust, authenticity and consistency do ⤷ Showing up regularly, being real, and sharing the journey ⤷ Even the messy parts is what connects with people. ⤷ Don’t let the fear of “what will they think?” keep you from creating So post the video, share the insight, make the connection Your customer base would rather see the real you every week than a “perfect” you once a year! 💬 How do you handle self-doubt when creating content for your brand?

You don't actually want a personal brand You want the benefits of the personal brand The reality is you don't actually post content just to make more money I mean, if it was like that Everyone would probably be doing some illegal stuff with it You may not even realize it The reason you actually make content is to leave an impact An impact on your potential client or just a general broad impact You want to be remembered and recognized for the things you're doing You want people to build a positive image of you Think of you as a high quality guy who speaks truth and actually cares You have to shift your belief of making content just to make more money Instead think of a bigger picture and the impact your content is leaving P.S What impact do you want to make with your content?
