This wasn't just a move—it was a masterstroke that not only brought exceptional returns for shareholders but also paved the way to introduce well-loved brands like Geant, Franprix and Monoprix to the region in record time. Whether he’s navigating retail landscapes in Europe, the Middle East, or the Far East, his focus is always clear: understand the customer and let that guide every decision. It’s this philosophy that’s driving his leadership at Circle K, where he's leading a transformation that's more about the people than the processes. In July 2024, under the wings of the Saudi Ministry of Energy, Circle K partnered with the Alsulaiman Group to set up a network of fuel stations across Saudi Arabia—a bold move that signals the brand’s intent to make a mark in the region. 𝐍𝐨𝐰, 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐊 𝐆𝐂𝐂 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥. His vision? AIM Congress in Abu Dhabi last week was a new event for me to be invited as a speaker and it didn't disappoint. A great crowd, content schedule and networking - across investment, entrepreneurship and other engaging topics. (the gala dinner at Emirates Palace was a real treat also!) A lot of my work is currently focused on talent development - from leadership to nationalisation and graduate progression - using culture, design and tech to empower people.
