Last week, I shared a post about a few interesting use cases for RPA in automotive. Today, it is time to look at how Robotic Process Automation can streamline Human Resources operations. HR departments play a vital role in every business, taking care of each phase of an employee's life cycle, from headhunting to exit management. The abundance of repetitive HR tasks leaves less time for strategic decision-making, staff retention, employee development planning, and building trust within the team. Fortunately, RPA service providers can help companies solve this challenge with intelligent bot implementation. In this article, we explore 10 use cases for using RPA to save time of your HR team so that they can focus on your most valuable asset - the people of the company. My Innovation Story - Eric Mechtenberg, Senior Recruiter Leveraging AI and Robotic Process Automation in HR is not just a trend, it's a game-changer. Our HR team was tasked with creating standardized job descriptions for 1,666 active job profiles across MKS' global workforce. The goal was to have a single, consistent source for drafting and updating job descriptions (JDs) worldwide. This was a huge undertaking that would take a lot of time and resources to accomplish manually. I had previous career experience that gave me insight into how automation could enhance efficiency and drive value in projects like the JD standardization initiative. I proposed leveraging Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to automate not only the repetitive tasks of copying and pasting JDs but also the more complex processes, such as updating competencies and preparing for future acquisitions requiring job additions in Workday. We collaborated with the IT team to implement Robotic Process Automation technology, using bots to automate repetitive tasks. The bots efficiently extracted and formatted the data into our job description templates and replaced a large portion of the repetitive tasks that would have been done by members in the project team. This innovative approach not only saved time and resources, but it set the stage for long-term cost savings. The success of this initiative demonstrates the broader value that RPA can bring to our organization as we continue to look for innovative ways to work smarter, faster and more efficiently. https://ow.ly/JaxW50Ua6gg #MKSCareers

RPA will not replace you; it will only supplement your power as a human being. Imagine your HR department. Would you prefer your HR professionals to spend their valuable hours trying to work out the payroll accounting and processing that involves a massive amount of data entry, which are prone to human error; or would you prefer them to spend time on high-skilled tasks, such as analysing and highlighting potential areas for improvement in workforce planning, employee management, and engagement. We are sure you would like them to do the latter. That is exactly why RPA is necessary. RPA is just a software robot that is capable of mimicking most human-computer interactions that are repetitive and low-value in nature. Simply, RPA is taking away the burden of doing repetitive tasks and is helping your employees to focus on tasks where human intelligence is essential. #intelligentautomation #rpa #documentprocessing #rinkt #processautomation
