New Real Estate Agents, the quickest way to success is by joining a great team at a reputable brokerage. Team leaders need members because they have more business than they can handle and have systems in place to keep generating new clients. 📈 By joining a team, you'll close more deals, gain invaluable experience, and learn how to generate your own clients. Yes, the team leader takes a portion of the commission, but the income and experience you'll gain make it worth it. 💼 On your own, you might close 10 deals a year and spend heavily on marketing. On a team, you can double your closings, spend nothing on marketing, and gain twice the experience. It just makes sense! 🤝 #RealEstate #RealtorLife #JoinATeam #CareerGrowth #RealEstateTips #NewAgentAdvice #Teamwork #BrokerageSuccess

Me: I like a lot of foreplay Owner: I am sorry we wasted all this time. Me: Its ok. we laughed, we cried, it was a fun emotional roller coaster. Real Estate Manager: Hey Matt, you’re on speaker and I am driving the market with the VP Real Estate, Sr. Manager, and operations Me: Thats great! Eveyone, its now time to sing 99 bottles of beer on the wall. I'll start. Our job is too serious. Who Needs Rollercoasters When You're in Commercial Real Estate? 🎢🏢 Ever felt that rush of excitement mixed with a pinch of nerves? Just received two LOIs for two of my commercial listings, and I'm riding that high! It's thrilling, yet I'm holding back just a tad—because, as we know, anything can happen until the deal is sealed. This is the real estate rollercoaster: no theme park can match the ups and downs we experience in this industry. It's all about keeping a cool head. Celebrate the wins, but stay steady, don't let emotions get the best of you, and always—always—keep prospecting to fill that pipeline. Staying level-headed in the face of potential deals is crucial. It’s not just about riding the wave; it’s about being prepared for any turns it may take. 🔄 Does this sound familiar to anyone else out there? How do you keep your balance on this wild ride? Let’s share some strategies and keep pushing forward!

I have noticed a significant amount of discussion on LinkedIn regarding team-driven commercial real estate brokerages. As an experienced professional in the field, I would like to offer my insights on this matter. (I would be interested in the opinions of others on the matter as well.) My Story: In my previous role, I was part of a sizable team. While the collective experience, knowledge, and potential for increased fee generation initially seemed advantageous, The team has a proven track record of successfully completing numerous multi-million dollar transactions, establishing their position as a prominent market leader. This impressive history was a key factor in my decision to join the team. 🏆💰🤝 I was able to quickly establish myself in the real estate industry and achieve significant success in a short period of time. Despite being new to cold calling, I demonstrated a natural ability to connect with property owners. Within a year, I secured my first listing and subsequently closed two deals, generating a substantial amount of revenue in commissions. 🎉💰 But I soon began to question the rationale behind my decision to join. 🤔 In my second year, my performance significantly improved, resulting in a substantial increase in revenue, double that of the previous year. 🎉💰 However, this success only exacerbated my dissatisfaction with the inequitable agreement I had entered into. 😤⚖️ I approached my team members once more, seeking a more just and balanced distribution of the rewards. 🤝💸 Regrettably, my request was again deferred and ultimately rejected. 😞👎 Fortunately, my tenure there was brief. We mutually agreed that my skills would be better utilized in a different environment. This year has been my most successful in the industry to date. I have almost matched last year's revenue while exponentially growing my net income. 💰📈 I don't know if this makes me anti-team or just more aware of my worth. But either way if something doesn't feel right you have to do something about it. If I never spoke up my path wouldn't have changed and I would be continuing to make others good 😊 fee 😊 on my efforts. Can you please share your experiences working with CRE Teams? #CRE #RealEstate #Team Splits 🏢🤝

New Real Estate Agents, the Deck Is Stacked… As a new real estate agent, I quickly learned a valuable lesson: entering the industry puts you at an extreme disadvantage compared to seasoned professionals. That’s just the reality of starting out as a new realtor. Once I accepted that, I was able to strategize on how to tip the scales back in my favor. The one consistent way I found to do this was to outwork the competition. At the end of the day, only hard work can level the playing field between a newcomer and someone who’s been in real estate for a decade. If you’re just starting out, put in the extra effort—it’s your most reliable path to success. #realestate #leadgeneration #realtor #realestateagent #realtortips #realtorlife #realestatemarketing

On a daily basis, I get at least one call from an agent at various brokerages asking to co-broke with me on multiple the apartments we have listed on Boston Pads. They are beyond impressed with the fact that we have literally thousands of active listings, and they want to tap into our full stack real estate ecosystem. Out of curiousity, I ask them, “do you think you would make more money if you had 20x leads and 30x listings and you didn’t have to co-broke.” What if you have access to the superpowers of Boston Pads technologies?” Would you make more money in far less time each day? After all, they see the immense value, otherwise they wouldn’t have called me. Their answer is always “Yes” Yet most of them say “I will wrap up this leasing season and come to work with us in Sept.” My answer is why wait? Why be loyal to an outdated system of real estate? Real estate evolves and we evolve with it. I tried at least 5 different brokerages before dedicating my life and career to Boston Pads. Every single company I tried before gave me little and pitched that old tired “circle of influence nonsense.” Great what happens when you called and emailed and harassed every friend and family member you know? Then what? Your broker says make 200 calls per day - yeah right. Ok sure. No thanks. Some agents still resort to unethical bait and switch techniques. Horrible. Maybe their brokers turn a blind eye to bad practices to get leads. Boston Pads is the only real estate company I have ever worked for that has drowned me with opportunity, taught me how to swim in shark infested waters, and continues to give more than I could have ever dreamed of as we build the most resilient armada of super closer agents. I want to see people succeed in real estate. It bothers me when people call and say they are struggling and broke because they don’t have the infrastructure required to successful in a real estate and tech driven market. All I can do now is pay it forward. I am happy to pass along success to others. #boston #realestate #hiring #training #proptech #fullstack #executive #support #trust #love

🏡 In the ever-changing world of real estate, who you hire to represent you in any transaction matters NOW, more than ever! I believe a lot of that experience has prepared me for the time we are embarking on right now within the industry. So if 2024 has you looking to buy, sell, or expand on your existing real estate portfolio, let’s connect and elevate your journey with my market expertise, effective communication, and client-centric approach. I’m committed to streamlining the process and achieving the best outcomes for YOU.
