This initiative is designed to combat food insecurity and support the diverse and economically challenged population of Franklin Hill, including low-income families, seniors, disabled individuals, and children. The pantry will provide a stable source of nutritious food, contributing to the health and well-being of our community members. Need Statement: Franklin Hill is home to some of the most economically disadvantaged individuals in Massachusetts. The high cost of living and limited access to healthy food have resulted in a food insecurity crisis, particularly affecting our vulnerable populations. The community pantry will serve as a crucial resource for these residents, ensuring that no one goes hungry. Project Description: The Franklin Hill Community Pantry will be a fully functional facility designed to store and distribute a variety of food items.
