    With Hillel at Syracuse University, I went to Moore, Oklahoma on a disaster relief trip to rebuild homes damaged in the May 20, 2013 tornado. Our Hillel paired with that of Penn State University under the supervision of the JDRC. We spent a week in Moore repairing roofs, fences, sheet rocking, and many more jobs around the worksite.     I routinely volunteer through Bloomberg Philanthropies to help local communities, participating in food and nutrition assistance programs, disaster and humanitarian relief and helping children with disabilities, to name a few. These activities are credited through the Bloomberg Dollars For Your Hours program, in which employees can direct a certain amount of the company's profits to an approved charity of their choosing depending on how much they volunteer.
