I enjoyed sharing this practical tip on air with iHeartRadio: Thanks so much for having me, Greater Rochester Enterprise #MakeYourMark. 🙌 Below is a quick breakdown of the exercise in action. ________________________________ Put the following into Chat GPT's context window: ⬇️ "I am a [role] at [company]. My goal is to [_________]. Please provide me with 30 prompts I can use this month with ChatGPT to advance my goal, and that will generate outputs I can use on a daily, weekly or monthly basis moving forward." For example: "I am an administrative assistant at a startup. My goal is to improve productivity of my team and office. Please provide me with 30 prompts I can use this month to advance my goal, and that will generate outputs that I can use on a daily, weekly or monthly basis moving forward." Here are ten of the results: 1. "ChatGPT, can you create a daily task list template for our team?" 2. "ChatGPT, write a motivational quote we can share with the team every Monday." 3. "ChatGPT, draft a quick email reminder template for upcoming deadlines." 4. "ChatGPT, generate a list of team-building activities we can do virtually." 5. "ChatGPT, write a short message to appreciate a team member's hard work." 6. "ChatGPT, generate a list of common productivity tips we can share with the team." 7. Is your brand having an identity crisis? Here at Gregory FCA, we have worked with hundreds of financial services industry firms at different stages of their lifecycle. At their earliest stages, the founding partners or originating entrepreneur is usually very close to the business and the vision for what they want to be known for and where they want to make an impact. As firms grow, sometimes there is a reach for that growth that takes them away from that original mission and vision. That can be OK. It doesn't mean they shouldn't reach or grow or evolve. But it does require a reset. Often, if you don't proactively push for that reset on your own, the market, your competitors, your clients, the media... well, they all end up shaping what you are known for more than you do. As leadership teams expand and outside investors join the ranks, the sense of identity can be further diluted. You'll know that the brand identity crisis is upon you when: * Your senior leaders and spokespeople aren't on the same page in how they talk about the business * The industry emphasizes something about your business that is no longer relevant or inconsequential while failing to acknowledge more impactful developments * You lose more than you win. That could mean more advisors/teams leaving than joining. It could mean that when similar investment strategies get called into the spotlight, yours doesn't get mentioned. Etc. * Most external commentary about your business is about things that have happened, with little or no discussion around where your business is going, what you have planned, etc. And there are other signals. But the bottom line is that change and growth demands more attention to your story and your brand presence, even if it doesn't feel like there's time or internal will to focus there.
