    This project required my team to create a media plan that would ensure the successful expansion of Birds Barbershop into Peoria, Illinois. My group was able to apply knowledge of advertising media vehicles and create an eight-month plan to strategically advertise the new store to our target market with a $75,000 budget. Through this project we conducted extensive market research and a thorough brand analysis.

The campaign celebrated the beauty of diversity within the transgender community, secured new followers and introduced the nonprofit’s life-saving services to people who needed them most, ultimately generating record-breaking social media engagement for TransNewYork.

The campaign celebrated the beauty of diversity within the transgender community, secured new followers and introduced the nonprofit’s life-saving services to people who needed them most, ultimately generating record-breaking social media engagement for TransNewYork.

    The Gold Award is presented to entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm. Approximately 24 percent of submissions were Gold Winners in this year’s MarCom Awards.

Deliverables included a new website, search engine optimization, social media marketing, email marketing, branding and print collateral.

    The Postcard Agency earned a Platinum Award in the Integrated Marketing Campaign category for work provided to local San Antonio client, Glass & Plate Restaurant. The campaign established Glass & Plate Restaurant as a safe and welcoming locally-owned restaurant for diners seeking delicious, quality meals. Deliverables included a new website, search engine optimization, social media marketing, email marketing, branding and print collateral.

    The campaign achieved outstanding results for the restaurant by building trust with locals and cultivating a loyal customer base. Together, these assets generated thousands of website visits and hundreds of phone calls for the restaurant during its first month in business.

    MarCom’s Platinum Award is presented to entries judged to be among the most outstanding entries in the competition. Platinum Winners are recognized for their excellence in terms of quality, creativity and resourcefulness. Approximately 17 percent of submissions won this award.
