“Jasmin is a terrific writer, a meticulous editor, a gifted manager, and an overall joy to work with. Jasmin and I worked together from 2008-2017 (almost 10 years!) while I was the editorial director of the Inhabitat websites, and she was the Managing Editor of Ecouterre, Inhabitat's eco fashion website. Ecouterre was the first website dedicated to eco fashion, and set the stage for a growing movement of ethical and environmental considerations in the fashion industry. Jasmin defined the editorial direction of Ecouterre.com, adeptly managed a large roster of freelance writers, attended industry events, including fashion shows and trade shows, edited all content and provided graphic design and creative direction. She also did a lot of the news reporting and content production for Ecouterre herself. Basically she single-handedly ran the Ecouterre website and needed little oversight or direction, as she is a take-charge, self-starter with a lot of initiative. Jasmin also provided copy editing and other editorial services to Inhabitat.com when needed. During these past 10 years, I came to rely heavily on her journalistic expertise, word-crafting skills and Photoshop adeptness to achieve our goals of producing a high-quality online publication. Jasmin would be an asset to anyone who hires her, and I will sorely miss working with her.”
