Given the rapid decline in local media coverage and the questions about its economics, automated government transparency will become more critical. Is Your LLM Agent Enterprise-Ready? Salesforce AI Research Introduces CRMArena: A Novel AI Benchmark Designed to Evaluate AI Agents on Realistic Tasks Grounded on Professional Work Environments Salesforce’s AI Research team addressed this gap by introducing CRMArena, a sophisticated benchmark developed specifically to evaluate the capabilities of AI agents in CRM environments. Unlike previous tools, CRMArena simulates a real-world CRM system complete with complex data interconnections, enabling a robust evaluation of AI agents on professional CRM tasks. The development process involved collaboration with CRM domain experts who contributed to the design of nine realistic tasks based on three distinct personas: service agents, analysts, and managers. These tasks include essential CRM functions, such as monitoring agent performance, handling complex customer inquiries, and analyzing data trends to improve service. CRMArena includes 1,170 unique queries across these nine tasks, providing a comprehensive platform for testing CRM-specific scenarios. The architecture of CRMArena is grounded in a CRM schema modeled after Salesforce’s Service Cloud. The data generation pipeline produces an interconnected dataset of 16 objects, such as accounts, orders, and cases, with complex dependencies that mirror real-world CRM environments. To enhance realism, CRMArena integrates latent variables replicating dynamic business conditions, such as seasonal buying trends and agent skill variations. This high level of interconnectivity, which involves an average of 1.31 dependencies per object, ensures that CRMArena represents CRM environments accurately, presenting agents with challenges similar to those they would face in professional settings. This market is steadily maturing, with 86% of Aussie users saying that the desire for strategic, effective enablement has increased over the last 3-5 years. #Sellers, stories resonate much more and are far more memorable for buyers than facts (people buy based on emotion and justify with logic). What #stories are you telling your buyers? Or are you merely presenting features, functions and facts? And...to echo Brene Brown, 'what's the story you're telling yourself' about where you are in the race, how well you're doing and what you're achieving in life and your #career. Here's the story of Shizo Kanakuri (courtesy of Sean Kernan, Yahoo creator, July 31, 2024): * * * It was 1912. Traveling from Japan to Sweden was no small feat. [Shizo Kanakuri] had to take the Trans-Siberian railway for 18 days in uncomfortable conditions. By the time he arrived in the city, he was completely exhausted and needed several days to recover. Then — he immediately developed food poisoning and diarrhea from the local food. He had trouble keeping meals down and couldn’t sleep in the days before the race. By the time it was his turn to run, he was running on fumes. The marathon began. Shizō and the other runners began weaving the long 26-mile course. Midway through the race, he felt weak and collapsed. A local farmer found him on the side of the road, brought him inside, fed him, and brought him back to health over several days. Shizō was of the old-school Japanese mentality and felt deep shame for his show of weakness. He decided to return home to Japan rather than participate in other Olympic formalities. The Swedish officials reported him as a missing person. Years later, Kanakuri was back in Japan, living his life. 55 years later, in 1967, the Swedish athletic commission contacted him and invited him to come to finish the race. Shizo accepted their invitation. This time he traveled by comfortable airline. He then successfully completed the Marathon. His time was 54 years, 8 months, 6 days, 5 hours, 32 minutes, and 20.3 seconds. When asked about his time, he said, “It was a long trip. Along the way, I got married, had six children and 10 grandchildren.” It was the slowest race of any type in history..." #storytelling #salesenablement #saleseffectiveness
