WOW what a great Yorkshire Sustainability Festival! Two packed days of inspiring speakers ( Mary Portas @KevinMcCloud , Tracy Brabin) thought provoking discussions and spaces and fringe events to bring people together to activate change.   We were delighted to be asked by Kate Hutchinson to collaborate with the team this year to help unpack how sustainability is one of the most important drivers of innovation.   Urgency to find new approaches to sustainability is one of the main reasons we started Creaticity and we were excited to share and discuss our ideas with such an engaged and diverse community.    So what have we done as part of YSF?   ‘Pioneers’ The 17 Podcast - Tune in to listen to our chat with with Kate and share our thoughts on what green skills are, why they are vital to a sustainable future and how systemic change is needed to harness them https://lnkd.in/eYV5Bky8 The 17 is a monthly podcast hosted by Kate which is dedicated to sustainability. It’s inspired by the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development goals. They represent an all-encompassing plan to protect the future of the planet. Martyn Long FRSA joined a fantastic panel discussing the skills needed to build a circular economy in Yorkshire with some fantastic contributions from students at Netherhall Learning Campus supported by the awesome Ahead Partnership (and Malcolm the Meerkat!!) with Eve Roodhouse, Ruth B., Emma Knight-Strong, Professor George Lodorfos.
