Great read on the benefits of executive coaching, especially for organizations who are making the case for the investment for their executive teams. In coaching Directors, Vice Presidents, and C Suite players, I especially appreciate Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella's coaching experience inspiring him to encourage a shift from a "know-it-all" culture to a "learn-it-all" curiosity that drives people to unlock potential. https://lnkd.in/ehP_3py4

So enjoyed spending time with the GE Healthcare Women in IT (WiIT) group talking about creating Personal Advisory Boards. What an impressive group of leaders making "IT" happen!

Amazing morning spent in back-to-backs consulting with two international McDonald's leaders - first in Italy, then the Netherlands. Hearing their perspectives on leadership in the global space inspires me to reflect that, even as we build meaningful leadership experiences, there is no one-size-fits-all and we have to allow for cultural perspective, flexibility in what it means to be a leader, and dynamic nuance. Global McDonald's leaders are paving the way - and there are so many ways. #thisisleadership

We are always hearing of how much great leaders read. I'm seeing interesting research on deep literacy from Garfinkle (2020) - and the criticality of reading to increase broader and greater world views. Now, more than ever, given social media's influence in shaping how we think, it's important to spend time "deep reading". That is, cracking open/accessing a book or article that helps us as leaders to comprehend, innovate, create solutions, think outside the box, and have the ability to be more compassionate and culturally-sensitive to others. It even comes from fiction! Reading ups our game as compassionate and reslient leaders. What are you reading?

What an incredible opportunity to present about Compassionate Resilience this morning at the Zurich World Conference on Teaching and Education. Together, we can make a difference in other's lives in our work and as leaders as we are building our own resilience.

Together with a full slate of incredibly thoughtful and brilliant international scholars, this morning I had the opportunity to present my research focusing on Compassionate Resilience at the World Conference on Teaching and Education, hosted in Zurich. I was especially inspired by the research two Ukranian scholars are conducting about the criticality of continuing learning and education during wartime. Incredible resilience we can all learn from.
