At Signum Growth Dot Play we believe in a world in which game developers stay close to their audiences, maintain creative control and capture the value they deserve. What are You Going to Do About It?” (h/t Joe Ferencz) Loved learning from Michael Galstyan (creator of War Tycoon!) and listening to Lee Veitch, Tami Bhaumik and Kay Vasey on our responsibilities to kids, the community and authenticity, to Marc Seal, Sortium on responsible #AI in games, to Arron Goolsbey, Mythical Games on blockchain working in the background, to Le Zhang, Spaceport.xyz on the future of #IPRights in games❤️🔥 Creators Undonebuilder and @MATS (Super League Soccer!) were inspiring. Christoph Kampitsch, Jeffrey Edell, Ethan Sawyer, and many more! 3) Landed just in time for Mythical’s announcement to partner with FIFA Mobile on a new game - FIFA Rivals. This is HUGE - their first game, NFL Rivals, drew 6 million players, but FIFA could be 20x the size??? EA Madden at ~25 million players vs FIFA Mobile which *was* at 500 million. What a beautiful sizzle reel from Twin Atlas + Toei Animation Inc. in support of their new game Hypergalactic: Monkey Quest. Toei, a venerated Japanese public company and creator of #SailorMoon and #DragonBallZ, has taken a brand new approach to the introduction of a brand new #anime #IP, Hypergalactic. By launching the game first into Roblox using the Spaceport platform, they are looking to engage new audiences before the launch of their traditional animated feature #film. It's an innovative approach to #marketing, and looks to IP to create an army of brand creators and ambassadors.
