This past Saturday, 40 patients received free dental cleanings and now have brighter smiles thanks to our Smiles for Santa event. It was a great day crafts, community, and holiday cheer – and even Santa dropped by!

Our 5th Annual Smiles with Santa event was a heartwarming success, bringing holiday cheer and healthy smiles to our community.  40 free cleanings and screenings = 40 brighter smiles! Plus, Santa made a special appearance for photos, and we had games, music, and activities for all ages. A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who made it all possible.   We’re so proud to provide care and joy to our neighbors during this special time of year. Last week, MWCHC hosted one of it's favorite annual traditions: the Seasoned Adults Living Triumphantly (SALT) Shopping Extravaganza! Volunteers from Piedmont Natural Gas, volunteers from the community, and MWCHC staff assisted 30 SALT members as they were provided funds to shop for holiday gifts for their friends and family. Thank you to everyone who came out and made this experience one to remember! Funding for this event was made possible by Piedmont Natural Gas.
