Collaboration with local employers plays a pivotal role in helping job seekers find meaningful and long-term employment. IntoJobs have partnered with Olsson's Salt Manager, Rob, on many occasions to prepare job seekers with the skills to find employment and excel in their new roles. Recently, IntoJobs Mobile Employment Consultant, Kelly, supported Lucas, a jobseeker, with transportation assistance, PPE and skills training, to ultimately help him secure a job with Olsson’s Salt. Commenting on the partnership between Olsson’s Salt and IntoJobs, Kelly said “Rob’s commitment to providing opportunities and giving people a fair go has resulted in the employment of three participants from IntoJobs. Some of our participants face multiple barriers, but he’s always up for providing people with a chance.” We are proud to share that Lucas is thriving in his role and is continuing to be supported by IntoJobs delivery partner MRAEL, part of IntoWork Australia. But with the help of IntoJobs, Rebekah's journey took a positive turn. Her Mobile Employment Consultant, Penny, worked closely with her to help rebuild her confidence, find direction and put together a plan. Over the next few weeks, Rebekah discovered her passion for hospitality. After successfully completing a course, she undertook real work experience at a local cafe. Impressed by Rebekah's potential and work ethic, the business offered her a casual position as a Café Assistant providing her with the financial stability she needed to afford her own transportation.
