  • Today is International Day of People with Disability. More than one in five Australians – or 5.5 million people – identify as having a disability. This year's theme, "Amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future," highlights how important it is for people with a disability to be leaders and have the opportunity to influence and inform the decision-making processes that affect their lives. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the unique talents, perspectives and skills people with disability contribute to the world. The IntoWork Group is proud to be part of creating an inclusive and diverse community and supporting people with disability to create their own Vibrant Futures through our employment, skills, education and support programs and services. #InternationalDayOfPeopleWithDisability #IDPWD #DisabilityInclusion #Accessibility #DisabilityLeadership #InclusiveFuture #DiversityMatters #VibrantFutures #IntoWorkAustralia

  • Did you read about the revolutionary Lock Jaw Ladder Grip that is taking the world by storm? Not only are we thrilled to see this innovative product, developed in Queensland on the global stage. We’re also proud to have been part of this success story, with Help Enterprises’ logistics service providing support to meet the huge and growing demand for the Lock Jaw Ladder Grip worldwide. “We’re always impressed with how much Help can do for us. Their added capability of processing, packaging, labelling, and distribution makes our supply chain process so simple. It makes a huge difference for us to know we’re supporting a local social enterprise. We love working with the team at Help,” said product co-founder Gail Bray. 🎉 Exciting News! Australian Trade College North Brisbane Wins the Schools Section of the Open Minds Australia Queensland Mental Health Week Achievement Awards 2024! 🎉 We are incredibly proud to share that Australian Trade College North Brisbane has been awarded the Schools Section of the Open Minds Australia Queensland Mental Health Achievement Awards for 2024! 🏆 This recognition highlights our commitment to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our students. At the heart of this achievement is our Powered with Positivity student wellbeing program, which addresses mental health risks in trade careers through positive psychology and a three-phase approach focusing on connection, growth, and independence. As Georgia, one of our Year 11 students, shared “The school’s Powered with Positivity Program and its supportive environment helped me feel safe and understood.” Mitchell, another Year 11 student, added “Being part of the Powered with Positivity Program at our school has been a great learning experience.” Our Principal, Brett Kavanagh, proudly remarked “We are building the new. The work that all schools do in working with young people from prep through to Year 12, transitioning them into their pathways, is essential.” We were honoured to be recognised alongside these amazing schools: • Agnes Water State School – Smiling Minds • Brisbane State High School – WoW (Wheel of Wellbeing) Weeks • Australian Trade College North Brisbane – Powered with Positivity Special recognition goes to our incredible Guidance Officer, Leah Pollock-Grant, whose leadership has been pivotal in shaping our journey. Over the past eight years, we’ve grown from a student wellbeing officer to a qualified Guidance Officer, expanded our Trade Support Centre, and introduced industry-specific support for our First Nations students and Women in Trade. A heartfelt thank you to CheckUP Australia for sponsoring the award and providing the generous $500 prize and a special mention to the Queensland Mental Health Commission who is responsible for improving the mental health and wellbeing of all Queenslanders and the awards major sponsor. This award isn’t just a reflection of our achievements, but a promise of what’s to come. We remain committed to expanding the Powered with Positivity Program for both students and staff in the coming years, ensuring mental health and wellbeing remain central to the student experience at ATCNB. We are beyond grateful for this recognition and excited for the future as we foster a community where every student feels safe, supported, and empowered to succeed. Stay tuned for more exciting developments as we continue this journey! 💛🖤 #PoweredWithPositivity #NailTheConnection #MentalHealthMatters #TradeCollegeProud #CourageEngagementGratitude #OpenMindsAustralia #CheckUPAustralia #MentalHealthWeek2024 The Australian Trade College North Brisbane is proudly part of the MRAEL and IntoWork Australia groups.

  • A very special day for MRAEL with the official launch of their Reconciliation Action Plan, formalising and further reinforcing their commitment to reconciliation. The RAP features stunning artwork by renowned contemporary Wiradjuri and Mabuiag Island artist Aaron Eastment, which beautifully captures the rich cultural heritage of these regions and integrates symbols that align with MRAEL's values and the goals of the IntoWork Group. Our Queensland First Nations Engagement Advisor, Shane Williams, emphasised the importance of reconciliation in healing and improving relationships between non-Indigenous and First Nations peoples. CEO Christine Zechowski shared MRAEL’s vision to create vibrant futures through ongoing collaboration. We are dedicated to ensuring that First Nations People have access to services that support their educational and skill development. This RAP will serve as a framework to enhance our services, respect their culture and acknowledge their history.
