We know it’s not a one-size fits all model. As a purposely small 2 person business, we can make commercial decisions quickly so that we can get started on the search. In the current market it’s important to show flexibility without devaluing our service. We are happy to be flexible as long as the respect goes both ways and the terms are fair. I hear too many people moan about the rigidity of recruitment services. It doesn’t have to be this way. We’ve also said NO ❌ to a lot of business over the past month simply because we’re either not the right partner for a particular company/vacancy, the terms weren’t fair, or in one instance someone was just a complete d*ck. This is especially crucial now, as local and general elections, along with high interest rates, has led to a cycle of stagnation and investor apathy.
