A fantastic first day at TA Tech, hearing about the pace of change in the market right now. A great fireside chat with Adam Gordon Maria Trivellato and Aurore LE PEUC'H ⚛️ EVIDEN on the topic of Tech, challenges of today and getting ready for tomorrow. Three takeaways; 1. Change and ‘The Exponential Age.’ We live in ‘interesting times.’ - The scale and pace of change happening today will only accelerate. - Our job is to embrace that change, be ready and support our teams to adapt and evolve - leveraging the many benefits of AI. 2. Gen-Z are a growing demographic. In fact they will overtake Baby Boomers in the full-time workforce this year. - They’re pragmatic, have a strong sense of self-agency and value authenticity. - Growing up amid uncertainty means that they expect and are more comfortable with change. - Connecting with Gen-Z on the right channel (think YouTube, Insta and other video formats) with an authentic message is key. 3. Hyper-personalisation is a thing - an important one - more than a trend. Candidates expect consumer-grade experiences - we should embrace this as an opportunity and ensure our messaging resonates with the identified audiences. The Future: A consistent theme on the need to join up technology and leverage the power AI and data.

⚙️👑𝗖𝗧𝗢 / 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 👑⚙️ ...no don't worry, of course I know what a fractional CTO does 👀 ʰᵉʰᵉ Anyway, I've got a really interesting requirement working with a fitness start up who have developed a first of it's kind product and the hardware side of things is done, but now they want to incorporate all the software / tech into it. This is an MVP type project for an initial 3 / 4 months whilst the physical product is still in pre production and focuses on how to get all the software / data into the product and strategy around that. The work is suited to a number of levels I'd say, so if you're a senior engineer who has done this kind of stuff, great. Equally if you're a CTO with 20 years experience and want to role you sleeves up and get hands on, again, great.
