No phone number? Just a fervent plea for your "expertise in Cuban business ventures." ️♂️ Then, after you heroically explain your impressive track record on the island nation, you get the dreaded one-liner: "Thanks, we'll be in touch." Cue the celebratory...awkward silence. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝘇𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰'𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗺𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹: 1- "This person clearly knows their stuff!" (internally: "Oh no, they'll be EXPENSIVE.") 2- "Let's find someone...cheaper. Maybe someone who speaks broken Spanish and has never set foot in Havana. But hey, gotta cut costs, right?" 3-"Wait, they sound confident? We don't need that kind of know-it-all around here..." Meanwhile, the rest of us seasoned Cuba consultants are just here, sipping our aged Añejada, puffing on a Habano, and watching the inevitable unfold. #CzechBusinessHumor #CubaConundrum
