Make sure you don't miss this annual Life Trends report by Criticaleye CPO Retreat Partner, Accenture UK & Ireland which looks ahead to the coming year, examining the trends in behaviours and attitudes across business, technology and society. Key takeaways include: ➡️ 52 percent of people have experienced deep-fake attacks or scams for personal information and/or money. The onus is on brands to make sure their online presence is building trust with consumers, not hesitation ➡️ The impatience economy – 55 percent of people prefer a quick solution and are willing to explore riskier routes to achieve their health and financial goals ➡️ Of those surveyed, only 29 percent of employees trust that their company’s leaders have their best interests at heart. Leaders should be energising the workforce by treating them like people and not machines – AI shouldn’t be personified Read the full report here: https://lnkd.in/eUHcXgdx #LifeTrends #growth #tech #CPOretreat

It's been a tiring year for leaders, so it’s paramount to recharge before coming back in January 2025. Thanks to our MD Andrew Minton for contributing to our Christmas Countdown. He offers some tips on unwinding during the festive break, including: 🎄 Prioritise genuine rest and unplug fully. Try to disconnect from work and use the time to establish healthy sleep habits – we all know that rest is crucial for decision-making and problem-solving. 🎄 Occupy your mind differently by engaging in something you love. Find something to concentrate on – that isn’t work. 🎄 Reflect on the year. Acknowledge your accomplishments to end the year on a positive note. But also consider what didn’t go as planned and learn the lessons 🎄 Revisit Your 'Why'. Think about why you do what you do and how it aligns with your personal values and goals, but also reflect on how your work contributes to or impacts others, whether it’s your team, customers, or your family. 🎄 Set some intentions for 2025 - where do you want to focus your energy? Set a mix of work-related and personal objectives to maintain balance in the coming year. Visualise success – what are the outcomes you hope to achieve next year. #leadership #festivebreak #2025

Did I think we would get to end of the year and grow our proposition ? Of course I did. Did I think it would be easy? No, because it was not and very rarely is. What made it easier ? That is worth momentarily reflecting on because I see it working elsewhere in leadership and organisations that continue to grow : - BELIEF AND RESILIENCE - both are needed it’s the beauty and the grit required to move forward - CAPABLE TEAM AND STAKEHOLDERS to better broadcast what needs to be done and be the future torch bearers of the organisation - KEEP CLOSE to your customers and know how and where to focus upon them and their varying needs - COMMUNICATION of intent and make it inclusive A big thank you to those of you who made it happen, as we look forward to progressing next year with even greater amounts of vigour and intent!
