In case you missed this panel some of my takeaways were: Business focus – keeping your eye on the prize and truly understanding the business is key. I often say we are in “BT” (Business Technology) and the B comes before the T. It’s all about the business results and not the technology. People focus – your greatest asset is your people but remember to employ them where they can add value and enjoy success. Partner with others who can augment your staff and provide basic (KTLO) services, so you don’t have to. Culture – transformation is difficult. We have to motivate employees to see the value and often it is the middle layer, the so-called clay, that impedes progress.
