The Blink Twice director, who stars as Bonnie Carlson in Big Little Lies, tells PEOPLE she’s been waiting — “like everybody else” — to learn what’s in store for her character in the HBO drama series, which costar Nicole Kidman seemingly confirmed in 2023 is eventually returning for another season. “I'm waiting to see, like everybody else, the third season that's happening ... waiting by the phone, waiting for the script to be done,” Kravitz, 35, says, admitting that she knows “nothing” about season 3 but she’s “excited to do it.” For now, Kravitz is busy promoting the psychological thriller Blink Twice, her directorial debut, starring fiancé Channing Tatum, Naomi Ackie, Simon Rex, Haley Joel Osment and Geena Davis, among others. Her Big Little Lies costars Laura Dern and Reese Witherspoon came out to support her at the Blink Twice premiere in Los Angeles on Aug. 8. “They’re so cool,” Kravitz says of Dern, 57, and Witherspoon, 48. And while she’s “not surprised” that Dern and Witherspoon attended the Blink Twice premiere to support her and the cast, she says it’s “still just so cool that they came.” Never miss a story — sign up for PEOPLE's free daily newsletter to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. When asked where she would like Bonnie’s Big Little Lies storyline to go next, Kravitz predicted the future of Bonnie and husband, Nathan Carlson (played by James Tupper). “Good question. I think Bonnie's divorced — that's good for her,” she says. From left: Channing Tatum, Zoë Kravitz at Naomi Ackie at the European premiere of 'Blink Twice' in London on Aug. 19, 2024.
