Teddi Mellencamp is setting the record straight about her ongoing divorce from Edwin Arroyave.

On the Nov. 14 episode of her Two Ts In a Pod podcast with Tamra Judge, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 43, alluded to ongoing rumors that have circulated about the reason behind her divorce.

“There’s multiple sides to every story,” Mellencamp explained. “I’m not going to confirm or deny anything, but there’s many people involved, and I once again say the same statement I said before — the kids, they’re the priority and so for the time being, that’s all I’m going to discuss on this.”

"We're moving along, I just didn't want to get the, 'Oh, you're such a hypocrite,' [comments]," she confessed, before referencing her children, Slate, 12, and Dove, 4, and Cruz, 10. "Small kids are involved, family members. You don't want to throw other people under the bus."

The reality star also admitted there was "so much" she wasn't "ready to process or talk about or involve the kids in.”

While fans may want clarity, Mellencamp asked fans to "understand" her need for privacy.

“There’s always, in every situation, gonna be somebody who is vocal and someone who is not, and I know in my world of recapping Housewives, I’m pretty vocal," she continued. "But when it comes to kids and other people’s lives that didn’t sign up for this or did sign up for this, I got to just take a beat."

She added, "But I’m still here, and I’m showing up for work, and I’m doing the best that I can."

On Nov. 1, Mellencamp filed for divorce from Arroyave, 47, after 13 years of marriage and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

The following day, the Bravolebrity announced that the couple was separating in an Instagram post and emphasized the importance of putting their children first through the transition.

“After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” the reality star wrote in her statement. “My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.”

"Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do,” she added, “But in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I have felt being open, honest, and vulnerable is the best path forward.”

In an episode of her podcast shortly after the announcement, Mellencamp said of the news: "I am just trying my hardest to make sure that my kids' privacy is protected right now and that we're able to have all these conversations. I just didn't want it to blow up."

"And for anybody that's curious why I would have posted it — posted a statement — it's because when your name is recognizable and you file in the court system, it becomes public," she continued, before vowing, "I know I am gonna keep working on feeling my best so that I can show up for the best for my kids and my life and my work. I mean, I think that's the biggest thing for me right now."
