Sophie Turner and Taylor Swift Spotted Out Having Dinner Twice in One Week in New York City

The pair had their second girls' night in one week, dining at the Barrière Fouquet Hotel with the band Haim

Sophie Turner and Taylor Swift have been spotted stepping out for their second girls’ night in one week.

After having dinner together on Tuesday in N.Y.C., the pair had another outing Thursday, this time at the city's Barrière Fouquet Hotel, where they were also joined by Haim sisters EsteDanielle and Alana Haim.

Game of Thrones alum Turner, 27, was pictured leaving the luxury hotel in Tribeca wearing a white Bleusalt T-shirt over a gray dress and carrying a colorful Louis Vuitton handbag. Meanwhile, Swift, 33 — who is an ex of Turner’s estranged husband Joe Jonas — was spotted leaving the venue in an off-the-shoulder black top, which she teamed with khaki pants, a Logan Hollowell choker, velvet Aquazzura heels and a boxy Brandon Blackwood purse.

The night out comes after the duo were photographed linking arms as they headed to Temple Bar on N.Y.C.'s Lafayette Street on Tuesday evening after dining at a restaurant.

Earlier on Thursday, Turner sued Jonas for alleged wrongful retention of their two children: Willa, 3, and a daughter identified in previous court docs as D., 14 months.

The lawsuit, filed in a Manhattan court and obtained by PEOPLE, also requested that the couple’s kids return to England and claimed Turner learned of Jonas’ divorce filing “through the media.” The Jonas Brothers star, 34, filed for divorce on Sept. 5, claiming that the couple’s four-year marriage was “irretrievably broken.”

The complaint filed Thursday alleges Jonas is withholding their children’s passports, which is preventing the children from returning to England with their actress mother.

"On September 19, 2023, the Father's Florida attorney confirmed that the Father will not return the passports to the Mother and will not consent for the children to return home to England," the lawsuit claimed.

"Based on the Father's express statements that he will not return the children to England and will not return the children's passports to the Mother, on September 20, 2023, the Mother has submitted her Hague Convention Application for Return to the Central Authority for England & Wales seeking the return of the children to England," the suit continued.

Following the filing, Jonas responded to his estranged wife’s claims and called them “misleading.”

A representative for the singer said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE, “After multiple conversations with Sophie, Joe initiated divorce proceedings in Florida, as Florida is the appropriate jurisdiction for the case."

The statement went on to claim that the pair “had a cordial meeting this past Sunday in New York, when Sophie came to New York to be with the kids,” and that Jonas believed “they had reached an understanding that they would work together towards an amicable co-parenting setup."

However, according to Jonas’ representative, less than 24 hours after the couple’s meeting, “Sophie advised that she wanted to take the children permanently to the UK. ... If he complies, Joe will be in violation of the Florida Court order."

“This is an unfortunate legal disagreement about a marriage that is sadly ending. When language like 'abduction' is used, it is misleading at best, and a serious abuse of the legal system at worst. The children were not abducted," the statement added, in part.

Turner and Jonas married in 2019 after nearly three years of dating and celebrated with two weddings: one in Las Vegas and the other at the Château de Tourreau in France.

The pair’s Vegas nuptials, which took place after the Jonas Brothers’ performance at the Billboard Music Awards, were famously live-streamed by Diplo.

And on Wednesday, the DJ, 44, sent his best wishes to the couple during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

After a caller asked him, "What was your reaction to the news of Joe Jonas' divorce?" Diplo replied, “I wish them all the love.”
