Kunis, 32, opened up about how her relationship with Kutcher turned romantic after years of being just friends while appearing on The Howard Stern Show, Tuesday. The actress said that while the two kept in touch after That ’70s Show wrapped, things didn’t change between them until they ran into each other at an awards show. “I see this guy and I see his back and he’s really tall,” Kunis says of seeing Kutcher, who had just split from Demi Moore. “Then he just turns around and it was literally like if we were in a movie, the music would start playing and the violins would go. I think for the first time ever he took my breath away – I was like f—, he’s good-looking.” After catching up with each other, Kunis (who promoted her new film Bad Moms Monday night at the Kim Crawford Wine-sponsored premiere in New York) said the actor, 38, invited her to his housewarming party. And though it was later discovered that Kutcher had intended to set Kunis up with one of his friends, the sparks between the pair were undeniable. “Long story short, I didn’t leave until the next morning,” she revealed. “[It was the] first time I ever slept over while I was single.” RELATED: Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis Tie the Knot! Kunis said that she and Kutcher decided to keep things casual at first, saying they would even tell each other when they were going on dates with other people. But naturally, that didn’t last long. The actress joked that their relationship mirrored their films Friends with Benefits and No Strings Attached: “If we had just paid attention to those movies we should have known s— like this does not work out in real life.” After three months of casually dating, they decided to make their relationship exclusive. “We were incredibly open with each other in regards to where we were with our feelings,” said Kunis. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Wyatt Isabelle, in October 2014 and are currently expecting their second child. They tied the knot in July 2015 – much to their surprise. “We started dating with the idea we were both never going to get married,” she said. “A year later we were like, ‘Tomorrow let’s [get married].’ ” And though they have known each other since Kunis was a teenager, the actress believes everything happened the way it did for a reason. She said they needed time to grow before becoming a couple. “We would never be together based on the people that we used to be,” she said. Close
