Of Kelly Clarkson's 10 studio albums, two are actually all about Christmas: 2013's platinum Wrapped Up in Red and 2021's When Christmas Comes Around...

"I love Christmas," Clarkson said on an October 2023 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. "It's so magical."

Her feelings for the season show: not only is she hosting the Christmas in Rockefeller Center tree lighting ceremony this year (tune in on Nov. 29 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC), but she helmed a celeb-studded holiday special back in 2021, too.

As the 41-year-old mom of two gets ready to celebrate her first Christmas in New York City — and as you make your home merry for the holidays this weekend — take a listen to five of Clarkson's top holiday tunes.

'Underneath the Tree'

Clarkson's "Underneath the Tree" off 2013's Wrapped Up in Red rises on the Billboard Hot 100 every holiday season, peaking at No. 12 in 2021, making it one of her more successful singles.

In fact, according to a 2021 ranking by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, it's actually the top new Christmas song of the 2000s so far, per Variety.

'Santa Can't You Hear Me'

Clarkson's powerhouse duet with fellow former The Voice coach Ariana Grande, "Santa Can't You Hear Me," is her second-most popular holiday song, according to Billboard. The stars got all dressed to perform it together on Clarkson's 2021 NBC holiday special, named for her album, When Christmas Comes Around...

'Underneath the Mistletoe'

Following closely behind is Clarkson's poppy When Christmas Comes Around ... duet with country crooner Brett Eldredge, "Underneath the Mistletoe," which features a kitschy cute animated music video.

'Christmas Isn't Canceled (Just You)'

"Christmas Isn't Canceled (Just You)" off When Christmas Comes Around ... was the first holiday song Clarkson wrote after splitting from husband Brandon Blackstock.

"I didn't really feel like writing Christmas music," she said prior to a performance of the single in 2021. "I was sad, and everything kind of felt like it was going wrong. And I thought, well, that's kind of a good idea, that everything could be canceled but not Christmas — I'm going to keep that one for me."
