Cynthia Bailey is enjoying single life!

“I am a single woman,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star married Fox Sports correspondent Mike Hill in 2020, but the pair announced they’d separated in October 2022, and settled their divorce in December of last year.

Since then, Bailey has been dating and tells PEOPLE she’s even met someone she likes but is taking it slowly.

“It's coming along all right, it's coming along,” she says of dating life. “There's someone that I really like dating a lot, but we're taking it slow. I'm still open to dating other people.”

“My person might be out there in the crowd,” Bailey jokes to PEOPLE about possibly finding a date during the festival. “I don't know if I found my person yet, but I'm still on the hunt for my person.”

“It doesn't have to end in a marriage,” she says of a relationship. “I just want love and I just want my partner. I just want my person and that's it. Now, if we end up getting married, then that's what it is, but that's not my focus.”

A former runway model and entrepreneur, Bailey says that she sees herself as "normal" and is looking forward to finding that special someone in the future.

“I’m actually really down to earth and normal and excited to meet my person,” she tells PEOPLE.

Career-wise, Bailey says she's focused on acting, but admits it was "fun" to return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta this season.

"I actually still have some very great organic friendships with a lot of the ladies on the show, so it was fun the season to be able to just pop in and just say hello," she explains.

However, she adds that her "focus right now is strictly my acting career, and that's just really what this next chapter is for me."

Last month, an episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta documented the moment Bailey's divorce from Hill, 52, was finalized last year.

"Guess who's officially single!" the Bailey Agency owner told her friend Kenya Moore as she greeted her at the start of the episode.

"Aw, your divorce is final?" Moore, 52, then asked.

"Officially," Bailey confirmed. "Aw, congratulations, honey. I mean, I don't want to be happy..." the former Miss USA said as she gave her co-star a hug.

"It's like a happy sad," admitted Bailey.

Bailey shared a statement with PEOPLE when she filed for divorce in October last year, saying that she had given the marriage her "all" and that she was "grateful" for her continued friendship with Hill.

“God does not make mistakes! I truly believe in my heart Mike coming into my life was destiny. I jumped in, both feet first and gave it my all," she said at the time.

"Although that journey has come to an end," Bailey continued, "I am so grateful for our continued friendship, and the beautiful memories that we made together. God willing, I will find love again. Whatever is destined to be, will be; and I could not be more excited for my next chapter!"

In his own statement to PEOPLE at the time, Hill said: “I love Cynthia and will always love her because she is a phenomenal woman and a beautiful person."
