Not even a month after being “devastated” by ex Zayn Malik after he called off their engagement, Perrie Edwards is still picking up the pieces. The singer’s girl group, Little Mix, was celebrating its fourth anniversary at AOL in New York on Wednesday before Edwards, 22, broke down in tears. The group was performing their new song,”The End,” when the lyrics seemed to hit too close to home for Edwards. Her verse goes: “And I won’t be missing, missing you / And no one can love you, the way I used to do / But love isn’t fair (Love isn’t fair) / And I swear (This time I swear) / That this time / This is the end.” In a video that a fan Tweeted, Edwards can’t make it through the words “love isn’t fair” before getting a sweet embrace from bandmates Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson “It’s been a long day, and we’ve had no sleep, so I think this is why this has happened. We’re just very emotional,” Nelson explains to the audience, who can be heard shouting, “We love you, Perrie!” RELATED VIDEO: Perrie Edwards Talks Split from Zayn Malik: ‘You Know What, I’m Good’ Edwards and Malik, 22, got engaged in 2013.
