Channing Tatum sweetly praised Zoë Kravitz in his last Instagram post about his now ex-fiancée, which he shared nearly two months before PEOPLE confirmed the couple had split after three years together.

Back on Sept. 3, Tatum, 44, shared a selfie photo to Instagram showing himself shirtless while Kravitz, 35, appeared to nap with her head in his lap. The post came just 10 days after the pair's movie Blink Twice, which marked Kravitz's directorial debut and the movie the former couple met on, released in theaters.

"This little sweet. She So tired bro. Every time I wondered if she’d break…. She just kept going and going and going," Tatum wrote in the caption. "Always on the dig for truth. She pour’d every single ounce of her into this film. I’m so proud to stand ten toes down for her, this film and everyone in it. forever. Knowing what it took to make it. No one will ever know."

"Thank you for finding me and seeing me. I got you forever," he added at that time. "Me and you back to back against it all. I’ll never blink. Let’s go. #blinktwice"
