    The final project included characterization, designing, analysis and developing a web management information system at "Miniplast" plastic factory.
    Finished the project with excellence at grade 100.
    The project also won the 1st place in a projects competition.

    "Miniplast" factory is producing and marketing one time use lab instruments for medical use, R & D in the food industry. "Miniplast" is standing at the most strict standards and producing its products using "Clean Rooms" technology. "Miniplast" is marketing and selling its products in Israel and many other countries such as: North America, western Europe, South America and South Africa. Today the production plans creation and management are done without any information system of any kind, managing the factory inventory is done according to the evaluation of the production manager and the marketing section in a weekly meeting.
    The system main goal is to move the production lines and stock management to a computer environment and to keep all the knowledge and highly important information in the system data- base and by this to reduce the reliance on people.
    The system will give the CEO and the marketing manager many options and tools to measure the costs, production rates, waste of materials etc. and by this to increase the organization profits and productivity. The system will give the organization a very good technological basis and a highly effective base of knowledge and data that is necessary to the growth of the factory according to the organization and the CEO vision.
    The data that was used to characterize the system were collected in the factory itself by meetings and interviews with: CEO, COO, Production manager, funds manager, Marketing manager, systems & data manager and some of the manufacturing workers.
