Really excited for this one, for obvious reasons and for even more obvious reasons ❤️ Links in the comments ## It's easy to take for granted that at the end of the day, the main aspect of our job as #ProductMarketingManager is to effectively communicate what the product does (features), the benefits of using it, and how it addresses specific customer pain points. This focus on #messaging and #positioning is what 92% of respondents in a Product Marketing Alliance survey identified as a significant part of their role. Essentially, it's about crafting the words, expressions, problems, and solutions that position our product on "the right shelf" where it has the best chance to stand out and be chosen. Messaging and positioning are certainly not new concepts in the world of marketing and sales, and their precursors can still be found in supermarket aisles, retail stores, and car dealerships. When dealing with digital products that cannot be touched, tasted, or sat in, this task becomes particularly challenging, especially when the market is saturated with competing products, and differentiation through unique messaging is crucial. To give you a professional, practical, and experienced perspective on how to approach messaging for a wide range of products, from enterprise to small businesses, in an environment where differentiation is challenging and success is highly valuable, I've invited Lilach Dahan, Senior Director of Product Marketing at Kaltura. Definitely one of the best teams I’ve met and worked with in the local tech scene. Run:ai ✨ But a few more reasons why this acquisition is awesome. 1. Nvidia appreciates us & keeps on doubling-down on the Israeli startup ecosystem. After the huge success with Mellanox the Giant is here to stay. That’s great. Again - I’d say that a big part of it belongs to Eyal Waldman. 2. Israel will get stronger, or at least keep on track within the race to AI. 3. Timing: especially now. When Israel is threatened and facing different attacks, and some big challenges. While many of us are not at our best (to say the least) and fight for our future - Nvidia knows what great innovation we have here, how great the teams are - and closing such a deal. 4. If you're a product manager, designer, or entrepreneur, I want to share a great podcast (In Hebrew, sorry) that gave me new insights about user experience. The podcast is called the Pendulum Method and deep-dives into a UX research method of the same name. The pendulum symbolizes the essential back-and-forth rhythm of building empathy with your users and truly understanding their problems before stepping back to apply your professional insights to crafting the right solutions. The different episodes dive into all stages of UX design, from crafting user stories while trying to feel what the end user feels to building an MVP design as a professional, testing it critically as (and with) a user with no context, and then fixing the issues as product professionals. I personally felt how the method takes many small habits and best practices that I might have read or adopted over the years and wraps them in a one cohesive framework that can guide me in my day-to-day work. The podcast was created and narrated by Yoram Rosner, a user experience professional with many years of experience. The first seven episodes (about 20 minutes each) are already out. How do you tell the story of the launch of a new insurance application and get employees engaged? at Creative Labs Israel we came up with a fun, engaging way to communicate how with the new app, the "sky's the limit" for both employees and customers. Employees got to engage with giant smartphones which highlighted some of the new app features. We used a real-time generative AI engine to then transform each employee into a unique avatar and transport them to the next level. Another great example of using creative technology to leave a lasting impression.

If you’re unsure, test smaller changes first to gauge reactions before a full rollout.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of participating in the Salesforce Women Network Summit in Israel, an inspiring event dedicated to empowering Salesforce’s women employee community. The summit welcomed all women at Salesforce as well as esteemed guests from the industry, who actively contributed to the discussions as audience members, panelists, and speakers.   🥈One of the event’s highlights was a session led by the wonderful Yael Arad, Israel’s first-ever Olympic medalist, who won a silver medal at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.  Yael shared her incredible journey from childhood to her historic Olympic win, but what really stood out to me was the strategy behind her victory.   She recounted how during the competition, she faced Frauke Eickhoff, a world-class judo athlete and the favorite to win gold.    Anticipating this matchup, Yael and her coach studied Eickhoff’s tactics. They developed a strategy to counter her rival’s signature moves, summarized by two profound principles: ✅If someone pushes you, don’t push back. Use their force to propel yourself forward. ✅If someone pulls you, don’t resist. Leverage their pull as an accelerator for your move.   Yael’s rival, Eickhoff, implemented her usual tactic, but Yael, prepared and composed, let her lift her in the air.  She skillfully used the momentum to flip Eickhoff onto her back, earning 7 points and taking the lead.    Frustrated but determined, Eickhoff repeated the same move in the second round. Yael responded with the same counter-strategy, earning an Ippon and securing her victory. The rest, as they say, is history.   Yael’s principles, though rooted in judo offering profound lessons for life and leadership:   ❗️Often, our instinctive reactions - resisting or pushing back, can block progress:  🏆By pausing to consider how external forces might be used to our advantage, we can turn challenges into opportunities.  🏆By mastering self-awareness and training ourselves to respond thoughtfully instead of instinctively, we can transform obstacles into steppingstones toward success, just as Yael did on her path to victory.   So, when was the last time you turned a push or pull into an opportunity to rise higher?   P.S.
