📍 Yesterday, I attended the 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 event hosted by Inspired Marketing Digital Agency for B2B Tech. A week ago today I took the stage at Content Israel as a key speaker. I transparently shared in a room with over 300 fellow marketers that the first thing my CEO always asks me when we brainstorm a new campaign or program is, “Jen, what’s your content distribution plan?” 7 days and 3 hours to the dot, Daniel Kushner 🐙 asked me to provide my content distribution plan for one of our latest customer programs ( side note: super excited to launch, it's still top secret, so do stay tuned) And you know what was front and center as part of that distribution plan? #EmployeeAdvocacy. Why? Because when you understand how to use employee networks to distribute your content you crack the code in making sure your content is seen by the right people, from the right people in your organization. You create meaningful and personalized customer journeys. You stay true to what social media was intended for-- being social, and build a people-to-people connection. You use the authentic voices of your employees to share the content you’ve worked so hard to create ensuring that your content sees the light of day, you get the credit you deserve, and you can measure the actual engagement and reach of that content far beyond your corporate profile. And most importantly, you build meaningful relationships and can understand what content was used to help build them... So my question to you is, do you include #EmployeeAdvocacy as part of your distribution plan? Definitely one of the best teams I’ve met and worked with in the local tech scene. Run:ai ✨ But a few more reasons why this acquisition is awesome. 1. Nvidia appreciates us & keeps on doubling-down on the Israeli startup ecosystem. After the huge success with Mellanox the Giant is here to stay. That’s great. Again - I’d say that a big part of it belongs to Eyal Waldman. 2. Israel will get stronger, or at least keep on track within the race to AI. 3. Timing: especially now. When Israel is threatened and facing different attacks, and some big challenges. While many of us are not at our best (to say the least) and fight for our future - Nvidia knows what great innovation we have here, how great the teams are - and closing such a deal. 4. Just like many other great things we’ve seen recently, also this innovation starts with science. Education is important! 5. A small reason to smile and feel proud of our tech industry. Happy news. If you're a product manager, designer, or entrepreneur, I want to share a great podcast (In Hebrew, sorry) that gave me new insights about user experience. The podcast is called the Pendulum Method and deep-dives into a UX research method of the same name. The pendulum symbolizes the essential back-and-forth rhythm of building empathy with your users and truly understanding their problems before stepping back to apply your professional insights to crafting the right solutions. The different episodes dive into all stages of UX design, from crafting user stories while trying to feel what the end user feels to building an MVP design as a professional, testing it critically as (and with) a user with no context, and then fixing the issues as product professionals. I personally felt how the method takes many small habits and best practices that I might have read or adopted over the years and wraps them in a one cohesive framework that can guide me in my day-to-day work. The podcast was created and narrated by Yoram Rosner, a user experience professional with many years of experience. The first seven episodes (about 20 minutes each) are already out. Great accomplishment to our cyber ecosystem, Eleven Israeli startups are featured in the Rising in Cyber list, which highlights the most promising cyber companies in the U.S. https://risingincyber.com/ The project was organized by the global venture capital fund Notable Capital, in cooperation with the NewYork Stock Exchange, Fenwick, and HSBC Innovation Banking. The list includes: Gomboc.ai , Oligo Security , and Wing Security among the 10 early-stage companies; Astrix Security, Descope , and Grip Security at the mid-stage; and Cyera , Drata , Island , Orca Security , and Wiz at the growth stage. The Rising in Cyber survey of more than 100 security leaders revealed three innovation drivers needed by security teams to adapt to a growing footprint of technologies, the rise of AI, and the evolving sophistication of cyber criminals. These themes provide a glimpse into the future buying patterns of CISOs. 1. Identity and Access Management The rise of non-human actors and identity-centric, malware-free attacks, which accounted for 75% of incidents in 2023, highlights the urgent need for robust identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
