Every day in Ireland, 18 people begin to lose their eyesight, yet 70 per cent of blindness is preventable through early detection and treatment. It was great to have the Vision Van at our office today – a big thanks again to our charity partner, Vision Ireland, the new name for NCBI The vision van travels across the country raising awareness about the importance of good eye health. It has been equipped with a range of tools for detecting eye conditions so the team can provide vision assessments, screenings, and share vital information about eye conditions, all from inside the mobile unit! We now know how important it is to have regular check-ups, which is something a lot of us never gave a second thought to before today! #VisionIreland #CharityPartner
