A few weeks ago, I started to improve my Frontend Web-developing skills on the Scrimba platform, and this was one of the first solo-excercises. The topic was to make hometown homepage website, and I chose to make small info page of Helsinki. The purpose of the exercise was to get used to HTML-language and CSS-styling. Nothing special but the purpose was to gain so called "muscle memory" for styling. I included some not needed features, e.g. favicon and hover effects, and also found a way to implement sticky backround image. There might be too much code in stylesheet and certainly there is a way to make css shorter so I have to keep practising. But great course, and excited to continue next module which is called Interactive Websites and comes with Java Script concepts. I've only completed 10% of the course so far, so I need to stay diligent in the coming days. Thanks for Scrimba and especially to Per Borgen for wonderful style of teaching. 🌞 Summer time is operations time, so I want to reflect on our implementation of OKRs   I absolutely love the variety that my job at kopa ventures offers, but it’s easy to get lost in the multitude of tasks and topics you’re juggling simultaneously. This is why it is key to have the right tools and processes in place to stay organized 🎯 Since my time at Kyon Energy, I’ve become a big fan of the #OKR (Objectives and Key Results) framework, here is why:   - Clear Focus: OKRs help you zero in on the topics that truly matter. - Alignment and Ownership: They foster a clear alignment and understanding within the team, along with well-defined responsibilities. - Progress Overview: With OKRs, you always have a continuous overview of the progress on the topics you’re working on.   However, I must admit, implementing OKRs can be challenging. It requires patience until the process is fully established and lived in the team, but the results are definitely worth it!   My learnings are:   - Align mutual understanding and expectations within the team - Get the full commitment of the management team - Get everybody involved in setting up the OKRs - Be patient and learn in iterations - Book recommendation: Measure What Matters by John Doerr - Tool recommendation: monday.com   A big thank you goes to Matthias Gruber for showing me best practices in implementing and living OKRs💡 If you also work with OKRs, I’d love to hear about your experiences and any hands-on learnings you might have to share.

This is the first demo of our autonomous sales AI agent. To build this product we are using crewAI. Together with Agon, when AI kinda started, I wrote to him if he would like to create AI products as side projects on our free time, we met, and ever since we work on our free time and meet every Tuesday at 5pm for updates and next steps. The autonomous sales AI agent idea was from my other startup Worki where I had to do sales outreach myself, and I had to spend 2 hours prospecting and sourcing the leads, and then another 2 hours doing outreach. While it was important for us, because we wanted to find our first B2B client it was time consuming, repetetive, and boring. Then after a couple of months I found DuxDash and automated this process. I loved this tool. Now with our autonomous sales AI agent we think onboarding, prospecting, sourcing, outreach, and metrics can be done in a way that wasn’t imaginable before. That’s what we are creating now. I’ll share product updates along the way. The next one will probably be the sales outreach agent. It will go to the sourced profiles and send them a connection note. I kind of want to build this product with the users for the users, so I’m open to having user interviews and demos to hear your feedback, and iterate and iterate to a product that initially 10 customers love. 📢 A Call for Gen Z Leaders At Slush, we give significant responsibility to young professionals, viewing leadership as a division of responsibilities rather than an expression of hierarchy or a command chain. However, this approach is no longer unique only at Slush. More broadly, in the startup ecosystem, the new generation is taking control and leading next-generation of technology companies. Meagan Loyst and I became interested in whether this will change how tech companies are built and led in the future. Therefore, we want to know what Gen Zs in managerial roles are focusing on in leadership, and what kind of principles they stick to that some might call strict. Localization isn’t just translation—it’s understanding culture. After analyzing nearly 100 off-shore casinos and crafting competitive reviews for various affiliate sites, I've pinpointed common pitfalls in the modern Finnish market: 1. Underestimating the player Finns are seasoned players with decades of experience. Transparency is key. Always be upfront about bonus conditions to build trust. 2. Unfamiliar games Picture a player entering a casino only to find unfamiliar games. While new and exciting games are great, classics like Gemix or Crazy Time should be front and center, especially on the first visit. Your game lobby should feel like a living room. 3. Calling things by the wrong names If you label something as "cashback," it better be cash. Mislabeling it as "bonusback" removes trust and credibility. Use precise terms to meet player expectations.
