‘HIATUS - Skin - a curated series by Euphoria Tattoos. The poetries of skin as communal art space. Tattoos can be an incredible means of self-expression especially for the creative-minded among us. For those self-centered they remain a personal secret. For those who want to share with the society it becomes a community building public space of art. Art has discovered skin as a poetic material, as a display. Skin that remembers every feeling, continues to fill with memories, on which events, both individual and collective, can be stored, engraved, processed, visualized and immortalized. In permanence lies a decision, a scope, in pain beauty.  In Heiner Müller’s play ‘Quartett’, Marquise de Merteuil says to her ex-lover Valmont: ‘Not that I feel anything for you. It is my skin that remembers.’  Revealing a new tattoo by a remarkable artist—who becomes both canvas and muse, surrendering to the tattooist’s skill—is akin to the opening of a new public art space. It’s an act of identity and expression, fueled by the allure of celebrity culture. Many renowned figures, from actors and singers to performers and visual artists, carry tattoos that are both meaningful and striking. These pieces blur the lines between wearable art and personal storytelling, offering limitless inspiration for imitation. Whether as a tribute, a form of concealment, or an act of revelation, tattoos have a seductive pull. ‘ HIATUS - The Run Club Phenomenon - a curated series by Euphoria Like bees they swarm roads, sidewalks, beaches and trails. Run Clubs.  Decked out in highly reflective and overly expensive gear, they move in a cohesive, rhythmic flow, forming temporary visual patterns.  Run clubs have this community building mystery about them. Many report how they are replacing nightclubs and dating apps. All of a sudden the only time you now engage with total strangers is at the local park on a Sunday morning.  They subtly serve as a ‘third space’ for a generation that desperately needs one. Something that might seem mundane to a spectator but becomes almost addicting once experienced. Humans are social creatures. We crave connection. The endorphins released from running plus a sense of belonging - being part of something, create a feel-good cycle that keeps people coming back, rain or shine. Honestly, in the context of rising wellness trends, ‘cold plunging’ and ‘biohacking’, run clubs seem like the natural evolution, the next big thing. But this one has the potential to genuinely bring good to the world. All of a sudden, people spend time outside, interact with and explore urban surroundings, people are less alone, they find joy and connection between the weight of daily life. ‘ HIATUS - Eames House - a curated series by Euphoria Nestled in a serene eucalyptus grove in Pacific Palisades, California, the Eames House stands as a timeless icon of modern architecture. Built in 1949, this laid-back yet masterfully designed home continues to captivate visitors with its harmonious blend of structure, art, and nature. A modern masterpiece and a total work of art, including furniture and artworks, maintained, preserved and carried into the future by the Eames Foundation to this day. The legendary building, home and studio, is open to the public and was created as part of the Case Study House program of the magazine 'Arts & Architecture': the participating architects were asked to create houses that reflected modern everyday life by drawing on industrial Standard materials such as steel beams and glass panes were used that had been developed during the Second World War. The connection between the strictly geometric Case Study House No. 8 of the couple Ray and Charles Eames, who lived and worked there, is still captivating to this day - two simple steel boxes, in the middle of nature and with a view of the nearby Pacific. An art space that proves how good construction, object and landscape can be in harmony. Three Entangled Emotions – Performances Jeppe Hein’s sculptures and installations are an invitation to be explored, used and tried out to enable people to enter into dialogue with the art. Euphoria honored this participatory element of Hein’s works with an outstanding and avantgarde set of performances curated for the inauguration of the outdoor sculptures on the #SKYPER forecourt last Thursday. We invited Frankfurt-based artists to highlight the identity of the new sculpture and its role in the city, while emphasizing the togetherness and community-building nature of art in urban spaces through dance, improvised music and performance. The four musicians - #DanaBarak (clarinet), #DelphineRoche (flute), #ŠpelaMastnak (percussion) and #AdamWoodward (violin) as ensemble, all formerly or today members of the acclaimed Ensemble Modern Academy, improvised, first as soloist and then came together as a quartet. The choreographer and visual artist #EmmilouRoessling, formerly at Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste (Städelschule) Frankfurt together with the dancer #RachelBoClark entangled Jeppe Hein’s sculptures and made the space a central stage under the stars. They playfully explored how bodies interact with urban objects and transform them. Renowned artist and performer #LuisGaray brought a dynamic skater duo into the spotlight, accompanied by a captivating lecture by actor #ChiaraMarcassa, who portrayed an airport employee. Together, they represented different facets of the city as a space of transition. Their interaction with Jeppe Hein’s sculpture beautifully captured the diversity of urban life, emphasizing Frankfurt's energy and adaptability. Our greatest thanks to all artists that turned the opening into a memorable and strong live intervention in the city. Unique High grade steel, powder-coated lamp head, LED Modified Street Light Skyper #01: 477 x 634 x 88 cm Modified Street Light Skyper #02: 468 x 177 x 88 cm Modified Street Light Skyper #03: 480 x 213 x 136 cm Permanent installation at forecourt of Skyper Tower, Frankfurt, Germany Embedded between the iconic Skyper Tower and the historic Skyper Villa, three yellow Modified Street Lights wind their way towards the sky. Elongated, curved, swaying masts with wide arches, tight curves and small loops combine to forms in constant motion as if space and emotions were dancing together. The three Modified Street Lights are more than mere illumination for the forecourt. Rather, they define and structure the space between the powerful buildings that firmly frame it. Through their dynamic interplay, they exert a binding force for the people moving in and through this space. If one were to observe the movement paths of people passing through, similar forms would emerge as those of the playfully curved and twisted Modified Street Lights. The joyful synthesis arises from the overlay of the soft horizontal movement of people and the up-winding lanterns.
