As 2024 draws to a speedy close we’d like to share the incredible progress our team has made in enhancing South Australia’s #lifesciences ecosystem this year. In our third year, we have empowered local health tech companies by: - Connecting with 500 organisations and 1,800 individuals - Facilitating 730 business connections - Training 758 stakeholders in commercialization - Identifying 80 funding opportunities, securing over $39 million for SA - Hosting 90+ events to uplift the sector Our SA Insights Series continued to thrive, offering valuable networking and insights from industry experts. The recent APPLAUSE24 event brought together 240 changemakers in our community, reinforcing our theme of empowerment. We engaged 14 PhD students through the IDTC PhD Plus program and supported 10 innovative health tech companies with our Global Market Navigator program. Our workshops enhanced skills and collaboration among local businesses. We also held a successful CEO Dinner, fostering discussions on workforce challenges, with plans for another in 2025! This year also brought some changes as we welcomed new team members while bidding farewell to others but as your dedicated ecosystem navigators, we are eager to continue facilitating connections and driving innovation in SA’s life sciences landscape. Thank you for being part of this journey and we look forward to supporting you all in 2025! Keen to stay up-to-date?
