Following the announcement of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CSIRO and the The University of Western Australia, the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation are seeking expressions of interest from WA biomedical industry companies on their future infrastructure requirements. Across 10ha with a range of building offerings, the site is set to transform into a global hub of biomedical manufacturing, research and health tech innovation, just 8km from the CBD and close to the QEII medical precinct and UWA. Your future infrastructure needs will be used to help inform the framework and future opportunities that can be unlocked from the current CSIRO site in Floreat under the MOU. Congratulations to Agili8 and Materia Health, who are amongst 12 WA companies selected for the Government of Western Australia's new Global Growth Accelerator Program. Participants will be equipped with the tools, knowledge, and networks to refine their go-to-market strategies and gain access to customers, investors, and partners in both civilian and defence markets in the United States. The program will conclude with participation at South by Southwest (SXSW) 2025 in Austin, Texas, offering delegates the opportunity to showcase their innovations and capitalise on strategic connections made throughout the program. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading not-for-profit organisation working to accelerate the rate of growth of the health and medical life sciences sector in Western Australia - and Australia - and build a more resilient and competitive medical products industry. The Operations Coordinator, WA is a newly established role and will report to MTPConnect Director, Stakeholder Engagement, WA, Dr Tracey Wilkinson. The role will provide comprehensive operational support to the WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub team, enabling them to deliver on their objectives effectively.
