  • Our team had the opportunity to attend not one, but TWO Meet the Supplier events hosted by the Australian Government. One was held in Brisbane and the other in Melbourne. As a successful respondent to the People Panel Phase 2 (Labour Hire Services), we've been participating in these crucial events right across the country. These events aim to streamline service categories from over 20 panels across the Australian Government, ensuring improved consistency in terms and standardised rates. "It was fantastic to attend the People Panel Meet the Supplier Event in Melbourne with Bronwyn Edwards, our Executive Recruitment Consultant. Our team has also attended events in Sydney, Canberra, and Brisbane over the past few months," said Grant Aitken, our National Sales Manager. "It was great to meet various Government stakeholders and gain insights into their future workforce needs and requirements as we move into 2025." What is the People Panel? Established in October 2022, the Department of Finance initiated a new Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) mandatory coordinated procurement. This encompasses Recruitment and Search Services, Labour Hire Services and Contractor Services, collectively known as the People Panel. Stay tuned for more updates on our activities and collaborations with the Government through this important panel. #AustralianGovernment #PeoplePanel #LabourHire #PermanentRecruitment #ExecutiveRecruitment #Recruitment #Australia #IntoWork #FindStaff

  • Have you heard about Unretirement? It’s gaining traction in Australia. Between 2019 and 2022, one-third of new workers were over 55, which means nearly 179,000 Australians who were retiring decided to look for new jobs. KPMG also found that Australians are retiring later. Over the past 20 years, the average retirement age has gone up. Men used to retire at 63.2 and women at 61.7, but now, men leave the workforce at 66.2 and women at 64.8. Several things have led to these changes: 👉Many people are choosing jobs that are less physically tough. 👉More women are joining the workforce. 👉Part-time jobs are more common. 👉People's views on older workers have changed. What are the benefits of going back to work after retirement? KPMG says, "This presents an opportunity for both workers and businesses to come together to retain skilled workers and provider older people with income, social interaction and intellectual stimulation." If you're thinking about returning to work, check out the jobs on our website: www.findstaff.com.au

  • You may accomplish great things, but remember, no one conquers every summit. Even if you reach the pinnacle of your field, there'll always be more mountains to climb. Find contentment in your achievements, but leave space to live life to its fullest, embracing the opportunities that come your way. Pursue your career goals with passion, but never lose sight of your personal dreams and the experiences that bring you joy. Strike that balance, and you'll find enjoyment in the journey itself. What's your perspective on David Allen's statement: 'You can do anything, but not everything'?
