Located in the heart of South Brisbane, amidst the arts and cultural precinct, this iconic building highlights our expertise in creating landmarks that will be valued for generations. Through meticulous design and a focus on sustainability, Upper House exemplifies our dedication to enhancing the urban landscape and delivering lasting value to the community. Brisbane's first project designed by internationally acclaimed Koichi Takada Architects, was inspired by Queensland's Moreton Bay fig tree and the organic shapes of the Daintree Rainforest. The sculptural form of this 188-residence building soars 32 storeys high, like an ancient and venerable tree stretching toward the Brisbane sky. At the base of Upper House, a large podium showcases artwork by Indigenous artist Judy Watson. Casamia by Aria | Under Construction The team at Rivière Constructions are pleased to announce construction has officially commenced at Casamia. To celebrate this milestone, a BBQ was held on site with the project team. Works on site are well underway with demolition of existing buildings complete, and site preparation works underway for piling commencement mid-September. Inspired from designs by Antoni Gaudí, one of the world’s most influential architects from Spain, Casamia will be Aria’s most detailed project to date, crafted with a focus on intricate detail, craftsmanship and unique design. The whole Rivière Constructions and Aria team are excited to bring another incredible project to life. Completion is expected 2026 and we look forward to sharing further updates in the coming months.
