    How to Setup PureVPN on Mikrotik (SSTP)

    NOTE

    Starting June 15th, 2021, PureVPN will discontinue offering support for PPTP, L2TP, and SSTP
    protocols on the majority of VPN locations.

    However, at the popular request of our users, we will continue to support the following locations for
    users to connect using PPTP, L2TP, and SSTP protocols:

    Things to Consider:

    Before you begin, please make sure that:

    You have a working internet connection

    A Premium PureVPN account (if you haven’t bought it yet, click here to buy)

    The following is the setup guide for SSTP Client on MikroTik.

    1. Log in to your router. Click on PPP from the main menu and select SSTP client.

    2. Enter your PureVPN-SSTP in the Name field.

    3. Now click Dial Out, and type the server address you want to connect with. (Please refer to the
    server address shared in the above note.)

    Enter your PureVPN username and password in the User and Password fields respectively. Check-
    mark the dial on demand and add default route boxes. Click Apply/OK to save your settings.

    4. Now click IP from the main menu and select Firewall.

    Step 5. Choose NAT and add a new NAT rule. Choose scrnat from the chain list and PureVPN-
    SSTP from the Out Interface list.

    6. Now choose the Action tab and choose masquerade from the Action dropdown menu.

    7. Click Apply/ OK to save your settings.

    8. Now select the Mangle tab and add a new rule.

    9. In the General tab, select prerouting from the Chain list. In Src Address, enter your IP address
    or the range of the IP addresses you want to route through the VPN tunnel.

    10. choose the Action tab. Now choose mark routing from the Action list. Type PureVPN-SSTP in
    New Routing Mark. Click Apply/OK to save your settings.

    11. Click IP from the main menu and select Routes.

    12. Click the ‘+’ icon to add a new route.

    13. Enter 0.0.0.0/0 in the Dst. Address field. choose PureVPN-SSTP from Gateway, and then
    choose PureVPN-SSTP from the Routing Mark.

    14. Click Apply/ OK to save your settings.

    15. Click on IP from the main menu and choose the DNS.

    16. Check-mark Allow Remote Requests and save your settings.

    17. Click n IP and select DHCP Server.

    18. Enter 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220 in DNS Servers fields and save your settings.

    19. Now click Interfaces from the main menu and open the PureVPN-SSTP interface. Then enable
    your connection.
